Sun Valley Restaurant Ventures : Chandler's Restaurant + Baci Italian Cafe and Wine Bar (trattoria e enoteca)

Executive Chef, Keith Otter, a graduate of the
California Culinary Academy, came to the valley to open
Chandler’s Restaurant in 1994. The goal was to create a
superb dining experience in a warm and casual atmosphere
showcasing the cuisine of the Pacific Northwest.
Throughout the decade Keith’s passion for unique
creations with layers of flavor have earned him the reputation
of possessing the most gifted palate in our valley.

Proprietor, Rex Chandler, a restaurateur with a career of
over thirty years that kept him traveling between his
restaurants in Newport Beach, California and Honolulu, Hawaii,
yearned for that for the perfect balance in life. A healthy
mountain environment and a community that appreciates
fine dining and supported his passion of hosting customers to
an award wining dining experience. Sun Valley, Idaho was
the perfect choice as Chandler’s Restaurant has earned
the reputation as Sun Valley’s home of fine dining.

General Manager, Sam Fugate, developed his restaurant
career through many years of experience with Chandler’s
restaurants in Newport Beach, Ca. An avid skier and
outdoorsman it was only natural for him to join Rex and
Keith to complete the team. Sam’s knowledge of the
returning clientele, attention to detail and ability to
recommend pairings of Keith’s cuisine and his accomplished
list of wines creates a memorable dinning experience.
